David Allen Webb, a business owner and resident of Ranger, is running for one of the two Magistrate positions in Lincoln County. With David's vast military experience, he understands what it takes to be firm but fair and impartial. He is a firm believer in our legal system. It isn't broken. It just needs to be maintained.

The duties of the magistrate are to hear civil and misdemeanor cases along with other duties. To see a description of the magistrate role, click on this link to the WV State Supreme Court's website. Magistrates are not required to be lawyers, but they are expected to know the law and administer it correctly. There is no room for interpretation of the law - simply execution of the law.
David Webb will execute the position of magistrate in the manner in which that position was created - based upon the law. David will not allow politics, social issues, or special interests to affect his ability to remain impartial as our magistrate.
